Royal Free Charity Support Hub
Naming, branding, messaging and core tools for a completely new service from the Royal Free Charity.
The Support Hub is a new Royal Free Charity service providing advice, support, and practical activities for patients living with long-term conditions and their carers – the first of its kind in north London. Fully funded by the charity, it is designed to grow into a recognised brand in its own right. As a long-standing client, we were delighted to be asked to establish its identity and physical space. Working with the client and a steering group of service users and key hospital staff, we ensured the name and branded environment clearly communicated the service’s offer and values.

Naming and branding
The Support Hub identity has been designed to be independent of the Royal Free Charity in order for it to achieve its long-term goals as a service known in its own right. To keep it part of the brand family, it retains the same colour and font. The addition of the 'info' symbol aids a clear understanding of the core of the service and acts as a shorthand symbol.
Signage and interiors
We designed and produced the signage and advised on the interior design to help create a comfortable, relaxed space.
Communication tools
The services provided are listed in a simple and clear leaflet which also directs users to its location within the hospital.
Referral pads have been created for hospital staff to be able to refer a suitable person to the extra services if they feel it is right.
