Royal Free Charity Shops

Branding a new high street presence for the Royal Free Charity.

As part of a strategy to raise its profile and grow income, the Royal Free Charity invested in a new venture – opening charity shops close to the three hospitals it supports in north London, leveraging its strong community presence and positive local reputation. The team asked us to advise on branding, interior design, and communications. The result was a full 360° project, with a highly successful launch. We have since continued to support the charity with design consultancy as the shop network has expanded across new locations.

Signage and interiors

We designed and oversaw the production and installation of the external signage and internal decoration and graphics.

Shop communications

We created a number of marketing tools to attract donations to the shop and volunteers to work within it.

"The Royal Free Charity has worked with Fit Creative on a wide variety of marketing and branding projects, from a complete rebrand to Christmas appeals, quarterly newsletters and even our website. The relationship works well because they ‘get us’.  Most recently as a charity we have branched out and set up high-street charity shops. Fit Creative made site visits and ensured each shop reflected our overall brand image, ensuring that our key messages came across inside and out. We now have a standard ‘look’ that we can roll out to all future shops."
