Severndroog Castle
Establishing a woodland walk around Severndroog Castle with signage and a trail leaflet.
The team at Severndroog Castle recognised the wonderful potential of the surrounding woodland as an accessible family walk. Approaching us following recommendations from other heritage and cultural clients in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, they wanted to engage more visitors by creating a packaged trail. Working closely with the team, we identified the route, designed and produced the signage, and created a trail leaflet to guide visitors through the experience.

Signage
We worked with the client to establish the trail and identify where sign posts needed to be installed to make the path clearly indicated. Manufactured from the same materials as used by London Underground signage we produced markers to be installed on the posts, identifying the walk name and pointing the direction to users.
Trail leaflet
A fold-down, pocket leaflet was created to direct people around the walk and highlight things they will see on the way.
The leaflet opens out to show the full trail with directions and a section for younger visitors to complete by identifying what was seen during the walk.
The leaflet also showcases Severndroog Castle and the history of the woods. It discusses conservation and the role we can all play in it, as well as finishing with other walks that can also be enjoyed.
Photography
Our local knowledge and experience meant we were well suited to produce all the photography required and support the client to promote the new walk on their website.
