Work Royal Free Charity

Helping to establish this charity brand that supports three different hospital sites
“We have been working with Fit Creative for two years after seeing their work and enquiring who was responsible. Fit Creative built our website and continue to support us with branding development, marketing and fundraising materials. It is a pleasure to work with the team who provide a personal, friendly service with inspirational design meetings, clear time lines and professional outcomes which produce great material which translate into engaged responses from our supporters and an increase in income.”

Fundraising Manager
Royal Free Charity
Working with the marketing and fundraising team to help establish a stronger brand and create various marketing tools including website, leaflets, fundraising tools, quarterly magazine and many campaigns.

Website
The Royal Free Charity needed to reach a digital audience through a solid and responsive website to continue its fundraising work. We designed, planned and built the website for them to be able to take donations, explain their purpose, promote their activities and grow their network.

Making today feel better
We worked with the Charity to help develop a clear positioning strapline which would rally the staff, volunteers and fundraisers behind a single remit which could apply to all equally. The line is 'Making today feel better'. Variations of the line can be created to make it specific to the recipient, eg 'for patients' or make it specific by the provision eg 'with massage therapy'.

Christmas campaigns
We have produced two consecutive fundraising campaigns to help those who have to be in hospital also celebrate Christmas. Funds raised paid for Christmas trees, decorations, hampers and presents for the children's ward. We recognised that wit would help engage better and engender a more generous spirit.

Fundraising packs
We designed a fundraising pack to be sent out to people who want to fundraise for the charity which included ideas, tools, certificate, target sheet and more. The concept of bunting was run throughout the pack allowing different messages to be set within the bunting triangle. The illustrations linked togethe a strong brand language we are developing for the charity.

Walk for Wards event
A bold illustrated graphic allowed both the simple concept of a fundraising walk and the title of this annual event to be visualised in one.
We designed the start and end banners, posters, promotional banners, flyers and digital graphics to support this event. On a yearly basis it will be simple to change the date and the sponsor and will create a memorable event in the same way the Macmillan Coffee Morning has established itself.

Magazines
We redesigned the flagging newsletter to be more magazine like in proportions and styling with striking front covers. Now having produced many issues it has evolved further with more pages and versions of the magazine for each hospital, Royal Free, Chase Farm Hospital and Barnet Hospital. The design has succeeded in raising more funds for various equipment and services the charity supplies to patients, families and staff.

Literature suites
The family of literature that cover the various ways in which you can support the charity's work financially. Genuine members of the public were photographed for the front covers to promote the different activities of leaving a legacy, joining the friends or joining the lottery.

Reporting
We have designed and produced the annual report and impact statements since 2014 and the 5-year strategy report. All of these important documents act to represent the charity and its purpose but also allow them to gain support by being transparent in their results.

Shop branding
Establishing the brand on the charity shop frontage, interiors and all marketing and promotions.
